Recently, we sent out FAQ letters to all members that explain important information relating to the New Source Performance Standards. This will be an important industry hurdle that will need manufacturing support, affiliate support and member support.

We expect for this initiative to take about three years to be completed. The timeline for this project looks like this:

Review of issue: Fall 2009
Notice of Proposed Rulemaking: Fall 2010
Final notice and new NSPS: Fall 2011

This rule will impact anyone that sells a solid fuel appliance. Regular updates will be posted here on our site and sent out in affiliate newsletters.
