Advocating For Our Industry is Everyone’s Job
Advocacy is a big scary word that many have no idea how to do locally. As we are continually reminded, all politics is local. Andrea Deveau will give us some tips on how we can continually advocate for our products, be good stewards of our industry, and give us a short update on what is happening at the Capitol in California.
Building Official – Building a Program to Become the Expert
This course will show attendees how they can use NFI’s Hearth Handbook for Building Officials, Home Inspectors & Insurance Companies to connect with local groups. The PowerPoint files associated with this program are available as a training tool for retailers to use when teaching at local meetings and offering CEU’s for AHJ’s, home inspectors and other groups.
Electric Fireplace Repair and Troubleshooting
HPBA Government Affairs Updates
During this update, HPBA Staff Eric Adair and John Crouch will update attendees on what is happening at a National level in regards to Government Affairs activities, how the tariffs are affecting our industry, and what is on the horizon for HPBA.
Gas Tech 101
This course is an introductory look at basic gas appliance installation, set-up and troubleshooting techniques. Topics such as fuel characteristics and hazards, combustion principles, gas piping and basic troubleshooting.
